Located 5 hours away driving from the capital city Hanoi, Ba Be National Park is a reserve in Bac Kan Province. Its name literally means “three lakes,” Pe Leng, Pe Lu and Pe Lam. Indeed, Ba Be Lake stretches about 8 kilometers on three different parts. It is the largest natural fresh water lake. It is surrounded by limestone rocks and evergreen forests that contain a great biodiversity. Outdoor activities are available in Ba Ba, such as kayaking, mountain bike or hiking. A lot of natural places in the area are also worth a glimpse.
