Ta Lai Longhouse – Cat Tien
At the heart of Cat Tien National Park, 3 hours driving from Ho Chi Minh City, Ta Lai Longhouse stands as a paradise of quietness and tranquillity within nature. The main goal of the place is to combine environmental awareness and responsible tourism. Guests may stay in the longhouse, built with natural materials such as bamboo according to local traditions. You will then have the opportunity to observe the beauty of the architecture, but also to experience daily life as it has been running for centuries in southern Vietnam. In Ta Lai Longhouse, sharing is the rule. Meals are prepared every day with fresh ingredients and served to guests on the main table outside the longhouse. They will fill your body and mind with local tastes.
Because of its location at the heart of the park, the ecolodge offers a range of various activities: kayaking, hiking, cycling, boat touring, bird-watching… At a decent distance of the lodge can be found local villages, Dao Tien Island that shelters endangered species of monkeys, and the Crocodile Lake.
