Sanctuary Pakbeng Lodge – Pakbeng

The Sanctuary Pakbeng Lodge is located on the banks of the Mekong River in Laos, across from the Mekong Elephant Camp, and 4 hours away from Luang Prabang. At the heart of Laos’ nature, it is involved in responsible tourism, namely several projects of local development such as the Médecins de Chinguetti Pakbeng Health Centre. The hotel comprises 20 superior rooms featuring their own private balcony overlooking the Mekong River, 8 deluxe rooms with removable walls with sliding panels and 2 large suites featuring a lounge area. The Sunset Bar and the Moonlight Bar may provide guests with cocktails and fresh drinks, whereas the Sunset Restaurant and the Moonlight Restaurant might delight them with some Lao and Thai food. The place is also a good spot to start trekking the surroundings. Besides, the lodge offers cooking classes.
