Les b\u00e2timents qui nous entourent regorgent de souvenirs, pour qui veut bien les voir. Au Vietnam, 6 h\u00f4tels t\u00e9moignent, \u00e0 travers leur \u00e9volution, des \u00e9v\u00e9nements qui se sont succ\u00e9d\u00e9 au cours du 20<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle. Ils font aujourd\u2019hui partie de ces b\u00e2timents mythiques, pour replonger dans le pass\u00e9 le temps d\u2019une visite.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>1. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sofitel-legend.com\/hanoi\/en\/\">Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi<\/a> :<\/h2>\n<p>Construit en <strong>1901<\/strong> par deux investisseurs fran\u00e7ais, il devient rapidement un lieu incontournable de rencontre pour la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 coloniale. Pendant et apr\u00e8s la guerre, il sert de base \u00e0 la presse et aux diplomates. Depuis l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance en 1954, il est le lieu de r\u00e9ception officiel pour les personnalit\u00e9s importantes de passage au Vietnam, mais est \u00e9galement ouvert \u00e0 tous les visiteurs. En 2009, il est le premier h\u00f4tel de la cha\u00eene Sofitel \u00e0 \u00eatre estampill\u00e9 <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Legend\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, classification r\u00e9serv\u00e9e aux h\u00f4tels historiques. Il y en a aujourd\u2019hui 7 au total \u00e0 travers le monde.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10127\" src=\"http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Hanoi-hotel-metropole.jpg\" alt=\"Metropole Legend Hotel \u00e0 Hanoi\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Hanoi-hotel-metropole.jpg 500w, http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Hanoi-hotel-metropole-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>2. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.majesticsaigon.com\/\">Hotel Majestic Saigon<\/a>\u00a0:<\/h2>\n<p>Il s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 l\u2019angle de la rue Dong Khoi (anciennement rue Catinat) \u00e0 H\u00f4 Chi Minh-Ville et b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019une vue surplombant <strong>la rivi\u00e8re Saigon<\/strong>. Construit en <strong>1925<\/strong> par l\u2019entreprise Hui-Bon-Hoa, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 le premier h\u00f4tel au management local \u00e0 se voir attribuer 5 \u00e9toiles en 2007. Il a notamment accueilli <strong>Fran\u00e7ois Mitterrand<\/strong>, ainsi que <strong>Catherine Deneuve<\/strong> lors du tournage du film <em>Indochine<\/em> (1992). De nouvelles ailes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9es r\u00e9cemment afin de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la popularit\u00e9 croissante de l\u2019endroit. Le <strong>Breeze Sky Bar<\/strong> constitue notamment l\u2019un des lieux f\u00e9tiches des visiteurs pour aller prendre un verre en fin de journ\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10128\" src=\"http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Saigon-hotel-majestic.jpg\" alt=\"Fa\u00e7ade de l'h\u00f4tel Majestic \u00e0 Saigon\" width=\"500\" height=\"376\" srcset=\"http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Saigon-hotel-majestic.jpg 500w, http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Saigon-hotel-majestic-300x226.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>3. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.caravellehotel.com\/\">Caravelle Hotel<\/a> :<\/h2>\n<p>Situ\u00e9 \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l\u2019Opera House d\u2019H\u00f4 Chi Minh-Ville, il fut construit en <strong>1959<\/strong>, selon les plans de deux architectes, l\u2019un Fran\u00e7ais, l\u2019autre Vietnamien. Pendant le conflit, les correspondants de guerre s\u2019y retrouvaient sur le toit-terrasse, toujours en place \u00e0 l\u2019heure actuelle (<strong>Saigon Saigon Bar<\/strong>). L\u2019h\u00f4tel abritait aussi les bureaux de plusieurs cha\u00eenes de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision. Aujourd\u2019hui, l\u2019endroit s\u2019est modernis\u00e9, avec notamment l\u2019ajout d\u2019une aile haute de 24 \u00e9tages. C\u2019est aussi l\u2019un des seuls lieux de la ville abritant un casino.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10129\" src=\"http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Saigon-Caravelle-Hotel.jpg\" alt=\"Devant l'Opera House de Saigon, H\u00f4tel Caravelle\" width=\"436\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Saigon-Caravelle-Hotel.jpg 436w, http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Saigon-Caravelle-Hotel-262x300.jpg 262w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 436px) 100vw, 436px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>4. <a href=\"http:\/\/continentalsaigon.com\/\">Hotel Continental Saigon<\/a> :<\/h2>\n<p>\u00c9rig\u00e9 en <strong>1880<\/strong> par Pierre Cazeau, il fait partie des plus anciens b\u00e2timents de la ville. Mathieu Franchini, Corse install\u00e9 en Indochine, l\u2019acquiert en 1930. Il en sera le directeur jusqu\u2019en 1965, date \u00e0 laquelle il passe le flambeau \u00e0 son fils, le peintre et \u00e9crivain Philippe Franchini. L\u2019h\u00f4tel est notamment c\u00e9l\u00e8bre pour sa cour int\u00e9rieure, o\u00f9 fleurissent <strong>trois frangipaniers toujours en place depuis sa construction<\/strong>. Durant la guerre, les agents secrets y rencontraient leurs informateurs. Graham Greene y a \u00e9crit une partie de son roman <em>Un Am\u00e9ricain bien tranquille<\/em> et certaines sc\u00e8nes du film y ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tourn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10130\" src=\"http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Saigon-hotel-continental.jpg\" alt=\"Un v\u00e9lo devant l'h\u00f4tel Continental \u00e0 Saigon\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Saigon-hotel-continental.jpg 500w, http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Saigon-hotel-continental-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>5. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rexhotelvietnam.com\/\">Rex Hotel Saigon<\/a> :<\/h2>\n<p>Il a d\u2019abord \u00e9t\u00e9 un <strong>garage fran\u00e7ais<\/strong> au d\u00e9but du 20<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle, avant d\u2019\u00eatre transform\u00e9 en centre de commerce en 1959. L\u2019ann\u00e9e suivante, il est c\u00e9d\u00e9 au Centre culturel am\u00e9ricain. Pendant la guerre, il constitue le lieu de r\u00e9unions quotidiennes des militaires am\u00e9ricains. Pham Xuan An, le plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre espion vietnamien, s\u2019y rendait souvent. \u00c0 partir de 1975, le b\u00e2timent est acquis par Saigontourist HCMC qui en fait un h\u00f4tel international. Situ\u00e9 sur Nguyen Hue, l\u2019une des plus belles avenues de Saigon, il jouxte l\u2019H\u00f4tel de ville.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10131\" src=\"http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Saigon-rex-hotel.jpg\" alt=\"Devant le Rex H\u00f4tel \u00e0 Saigon la nuit\" width=\"500\" height=\"376\" srcset=\"http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Saigon-rex-hotel.jpg 500w, http:\/\/nam-viet-voyage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Saigon-rex-hotel-300x226.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>6. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grandhotel.vn\/en.html\">Grand Hotel Saigon<\/a> :<\/h2>\n<p>Construit en <strong>1930<\/strong>, il est fond\u00e9 par Henri Chavigny de Lachevroti\u00e8re, puis vendu \u00e0 Patrice Luciani, en 1932. Celui-ci change le nom de l\u2019h\u00f4tel en Saigon-Palace. En 1939, le b\u00e2timent est c\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 un autre Corse, Antoine Giorgetti, qui le transforme en appartements. Apr\u00e8s l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance du pays en 1954, l\u2019h\u00f4tel devient propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9tat vietnamien. Vient ensuite une p\u00e9riode assez maussade, \u00e0 laquelle succ\u00e8de une r\u00e9novation de 1995 \u00e0 1998.
